Introduction

These are the Terms upon which we accept internet bookings on this website. It is important that you read and understand these Terms before making your booking. By making your booking on this website, you accept to be bound by these Terms. These Terms also set out the rules that you must follow when you park your truck in the area.

Definitions and Interpretations

In these Terms, the following words or phrases have the following meanings unless inconsistent with the context:

  • “Booking” means the booking made by you on this website to use Security Park Sweden in Jönköping.
  • “Booking Period” means the period commencing on the date that you specify for the date of entry and expiring on the date that you specify for leaving.
  • “Day” means a period of 24 hours commencing at 00:01 hours and terminating at 24:00.
  • The words “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Security Park Sweden (SE556684357801).
  • The words “you” or “your” mean any person who makes a booking or (where the context allows) uses any of the parking services at the site.

If you make a booking on this website, then you accept these Terms. These Terms apply to the exclusion of any other conditions. None of our employees or agents have the authority to vary or waive these Terms. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and those signposted at the entrance of the Truck Park, then these Terms will prevail. These Terms may be changed by us at any time, and such changes will apply to all bookings after the changes have been posted on this website. Some legal obligations imposed by law cannot be limited or excluded. No attempt to limit or exclude such liability is made by us.

Booking Requirements

You will need to read and confirm on this website that you have read these Terms before your booking will be accepted by us. You will be bound by the Terms once you receive the booking confirmation on your e-mail. We only accept bookings for trucks, light utility vehicles, and light vans. When you make your booking, you must specify the registration number of the vehicle. Your booking will only be valid for the vehicle that has the specified registration number as provided by you in your booking. You must change these details if you wish to use another vehicle. There is no additional fee if you change these details before your booked arrival time. These details can be changed by emailing us at [email protected] or using the “Manage Booking” function on the website. By having an invoice account, you have the opportunity to pre-book places if we have free spots available, but we can never guarantee a spot just by holding such an account.

Payment

We accept cash (Swedish krona or Euros) or card payments (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, DKV, UTA, ROUTEX, STATION, CIRCLEK, DINERS). If you book online, we only accept invoices from companies with an account for this.

By booking on our website, you agree that:

  • You will be charged for each day between the hours of 00:01 and 24:00 or part thereof of the booking period.
  • No refund will be made if your stay is shorter than the time specified in the booking period.
  • If you arrive early or leave late (so that your truck is parked in the Truck Park for any period of time outside your booking period), then you will be charged for the additional period you are in the Truck Park at the current parking rates. Any such charge will be payable, even if your total stay is no longer than the booking period.
  • The price quoted on this website includes a 25% tax. No further discounts apply.

Cancelling Your Booking

You may cancel your booking, for any reason, at any time up to 1 day prior to the start of the booking period with no extra fees. To cancel your booking, you must contact us by email at [email protected], quoting your name, address, vehicle registration, booking receipt number, and booking period. You can also use the “modify booking” function on the homepage. There will be no refund for your booking if you do not use the booking.

Your Entitlement to Parking Services

We will use reasonable endeavors to ensure that the parking services are available at the Truck Park, but availability of a space is not guaranteed. If the parking services are not available, then the following will apply: In the unlikely event that we cannot accommodate your vehicle at the Truck Park, then you will be entitled to a full refund of your booking fee.

General Liability

If we cannot accommodate your vehicle for any reason, then you agree that such substitute parking and/or refund referred to will be your only remedy against us. Subject to any law to the contrary, this will be the limit of our liability to you under the contract. We will not be liable to you for any loss, theft, or damage that you, the driver, or your vehicle may suffer. We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage of the freight in a truck and/or trailer. We will also not be liable to you for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential loss or damage suffered by you or your driver as a result of a breach by us of our obligations under the Terms and the Contract, whether we could have foreseen such losses or damages at the time. All vehicles must have valid insurance, must be registered and in service. We will assist the police with surveillance videos and entry and exit logs if needed. In case of theft, you can apply for compensation for liability. This is done in writing to:

Security Park Sweden, Hyltena 50, S-555 92 Jönköping, Sweden. A police and insurance report must be attached, and payment is made after 6 months unless they become final. The maximum compensation is 3500 SEK. You indemnify us for any cost, loss, or damage suffered by us in connection with any death or personal injury of any person or any damages to any real and personal property caused directly or indirectly by you or your agent’s/driver’s use of the vehicle in the Truck Park. You are responsible for substituting damages that may arise on gates, fences, cameras, or similar property inside the parking lot caused by you and/or the driver of the reservation in question.

Check-in Procedure

When the reservation is confirmed, you will receive the pincode with details sent to your e-mail. You can also see this pincode in the administration area.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such failure or delay is a result of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of nature, natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, civil disturbances, government actions, labor disputes, strikes, lockouts, or other industrial disturbances, pandemics, epidemics, or any other events or circumstances considered to be force majeure.

In the event of a force majeure event, we will make reasonable efforts to mitigate its effects and perform our obligations as soon as reasonably practicable. We shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or inconvenience suffered by you as a result of such events.

If a force majeure event prevents or significantly hinders the provision of our services for an extended period, we reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings as necessary and will provide notice to affected customers.

This force majeure clause is subject to any applicable laws and regulations, and it does not affect any rights or obligations that cannot be excluded or limited under the law. We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of any force majeure events and their impact on our services.

Personal Data

Personal information that a customer provides at the time of check-in will be saved and retained for a period of 5 years. We retain this data to fulfill the following purposes:

  1. Reservation Records: To maintain a historical record of reservations, bookings, and transactions for customer reference and dispute resolution.

  2. Billing and Invoicing: To facilitate billing and invoicing for services provided during your stay.

  3. Customer Support: To provide effective customer support, address inquiries, and assist with any issues related to your reservation.

  4. Legal Compliance: To meet legal and regulatory requirements, including financial and tax obligations that necessitate data retention.

  5. Improvement of Services: To analyze past reservations and customer preferences for the purpose of improving our services.

  6. Security and Safety: To enhance the security and safety of our premises and operations.

We take data privacy and security seriously, and the data retained is subject to strict security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access and breaches.
